Very big Target. We’ve never been here. We usually never have problems with the tech team but man! We were better going off to Walmart. Their tech team is so rude! Instead of trying to help us find something for our tv and game system, he just directed us on where to go. Watched a lady come up and asked for help, he also directed her instead of just showing her. Mind you, they weren’t busy. He just stood there and stared back at me while playing with a ball! My brother even purchased a screen from there and had a regular target employee help us. Just put a regular team member there. No point of having a tech team if they just stand there and act like they’re too good to help. Gave it a 2 star because the actual target team member was very nice.
I went to Target this morning at 7:45 am. They have changed their self check out rules. You can only go through if you have 10 items or less. If you have more than 10 items you have to go to a cashier. They so graciously had one register open. Target, do better! I will not be returning to the Blaine location.
I simply luv this store. It is always a well managed store that is very clean and orderly, but it is the employees here that create such a wonderful environment to hop in. Employees go out of their way to help u and will take note of how u look and ask if there is anything they can help you with if u r looking puzzled. It’s great customer service throughput the entire store.
Did a return here recently and omg there wasn't a shred of kindness shown to me at all. The lady threw my receipt at me and yelled NEXT. Didn't smile at all and she initially told me "I can't even do what you're asking" before she even tried. And it did work she just didn't want to help me or be there at all. I get it's the holidays are retail customers are 10/10 the worst EVER, but you guys need to get it together and start showing some kindness. No one wants to be treated badly in a place they spend a ton of money....
Our cashier, Jackie, was phenomenal. She taught us how to use our target circle app and told us about current deals in the store. She was very fast ringing us out and super friendly. We saw her help another guest too while in line. She is wonderful!
Okay, effective recently, they made a 10 items or less rule at self check out. Who's evil genius idea was that?? Turned away with 12 small items in my basket which would have taken me 2 minutes or less to ring and pay for. While they had 3 (!!!!) available registers. But - NO SIR, YOU HAVE TO GO TO REGULAR CHECKOUT. Okay, each of those had a line with 3 or more people with carts filled to the top. Took more time to argue than would have taken to self check out. Plus 20 more minutes in line at regular register. Because, you know, someone's discount on one of two hundred items they bought, did not go through and they have to dig it out and ring it all again.
DUMB? - YES.
INEFFICIENT? - YES.
SHOPPING HERE AGAIN? - HUH? NO. I'll spend my dollars elsewhere. Target doesn't want to provide good service apparently for that. If the rules are against logic, sense and situation, I have no business here.
Thanks for wasting my weekend time like this. Not happening again.
i have been more than patient with this target throughout the years. between rude employees at customer service, limiting self-check out to 10 items or less, items ringing up at the wrong price, NEVER having things in stock when the app tells you they do and them discontinuing multiple basic items. i've tried being understanding because i have worked retail for years and i know how it is. i drove 20 minutes out of my way, after work, to get three things tonight. two of the items said they were in stock in the app. they weren't. and the third item, was discontinued. it's just a consent headache coming here. i only seem to have issues at this location. i will no longer be shopping here.
Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love Target, but over the last year in Blaine I can’t remember I time when I have been there that a Target worker does not get in the way. It would be no big deal, but they cut in front of you in the isle with no apologies or even eye contact. They are stocking or shopping orders, but what happened to politeness or customer care.
